Boston, MA, August 15 – The National Parents Union Action Fund announced today that its Family Advisory Council voted to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential bid.
“The National Parents Union Action Fund is thrilled to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for President of the United States,” said NPU’s Action Fund President Keri Rodrigues. “American families are craving stable and effective leadership and we have real confidence that Vice President Harris will provide the fresh vision, compassion and focus to ensure hard working American families remain at the top of her agenda.
“But our endorsement is more than just a press release. Today we are making a commitment to activate 5,000 parents and families to make 5,000,000 calls to voters in Pennsylvania and Georgia to ensure that the priorities of parents and families are heard. This advocacy will include addressing the struggle of American families facing difficult economic conditions; bringing true innovation in American classrooms to ensure our children are prepared for economic mobility and the jobs and economy of the future; and confronting climate change so that our children inherit a healthy and thriving planet. Now is not the time to sit on the sidelines. This election is about setting the agenda for the future of our nation and we are ready to get to work.”
